CNC Machining —
Your Parts, Built Under One Roof

Sensor housings, liquid cooling structures, mounting brackets, test fixtures — whatever structural parts your project needs, our in-house CNC team machines them alongside the rest of your order. One point of contact, one production plan, no outsourcing delays.

Why CNC In-House

One Supplier, One Schedule — Whatever the Part Requires

Our customers come to us for sensor structural components, but projects rarely stop there. A bracket to mount the sensor module. A fixture for the customer's own assembly line. A liquid cooling plate that sits underneath. Instead of managing three vendors, they send it all to us.

In-house CNC means we already have the engineering context for your project. When you add a bracket or a custom jig to the same order, it goes through the same DFM review, the same production system, and ships together — no coordination overhead on your side.

E-Tech CNC Machining Service Case of Sensor Parts

sensor parts cnc machining service case
Customer Challenge

The temperature and pressure integrated sensor requiresa metal connector with two key features: an internalcoolant flow channel and a precise injection-molded fitwith the plastic housing.

Our Solution

CNC engineers participated in the customer's DFM review, using 5-axis machining for both milling and turningoperations. With one setup, the process was completed, achieving an integrated metal-plastic molding without theneed for external assembly.

CNC-Machined Components Across Sensor Applications

Two areas we see the most demand in - plus the flexibility to handle whatever else your project needs.

Turn-Mill Combined
Complex Rotational Parts, Completed in One Setup

Sensor housings often need turning, cross-drilling, threading, and milling on a single part. Our turn-mill centers handle all of this in one clamping - which means better concentricity, fewer handling marks, and shorter lead times than routing between separate machines.
Typical parts: threaded sensor bodies, multi-feature connector shells, stepped shafts with flats and grooves.

Liquid Cooling Structures
Internal Channels Machined for Thermal Performance

Sensor modules in EV, power electronics, and industrial drives increasingly need active cooling. We machine the internal flow channels, manifold interfaces, and sealing surfaces that make liquid cooling work — with leak-tested confidence before assembly.
Typical parts: cold plate bodies, coolant manifold housings, multi-pass channel plates for battery thermal management.

We Also Regularly Machine
Mounting Brackets & Structural Parts
Aluminum and steel brackets, enclosures, baseplates — the structural pieces that hold a sensor assembly together or mount it in the end application.
Jigs, Fixtures & Test Tooling
Custom fixtures for your own assembly or QC lines. Positioning jigs, press-fit tools, go/no-go gauges — machined to your specs, delivered with the production parts.
Whatever Your BOM Needs
Adapter plates, shims, spacers, cable clamps, cover plates — if it's on your drawing and can be machined, we add it to the same PO. No part is too small to include.

How This Plays Out in Practice

CNC is one stage in a connected process — not a standalone service.
Battery Thermal Management Module
EV / New Energy
Battery Thermal Management Module — Liquid-Cooled Cold Plate

Customer redesigned channel layout three times during development. Because CNC was in-house, each revision went from updated model to machined sample in 4 days — keeping the overall program on schedule.

3+ Design Iterations Absorbed
4 days per sample revision
0 leaks across 1,200 pcs delivered
Pressure Sensor Housing
Automotive Sensor
Pressure Sensor Housing — Turn-Mill Stainless Steel Body

Threaded body with internal bore, sealing groove, and hex flat — all produced in a single turn-mill cycle. Eliminated a previous three-machine routing the customer's old supplier used, cutting cycle time and handling risk.

1 setup vs. previous 3 ops
40% cycle time reduction
±0.01mm bore concentricity held
Industrial Automation
Sensor Bracket + Assembly Fixture — Bundled in One Order

Customer needed stainless steel mounting brackets for a sensor module, plus a set of positioning jigs for their own assembly line. Both shipped together in the same lot — same material certs, same inspection standard, same delivery window. Saved them from managing a second fixture vendor entirely.

FAQ

Common Questions

Can I add brackets, fixtures, or other non-sensor parts to a sensor component order?
Yes — and many customers do exactly that. Brackets, jigs, cover plates, test fixtures, spacers — if it can be machined and it's part of your project, add it to the same PO. It ships together, inspected together, under one set of documentation. You can also send standalone machining jobs without a sensor component order; we handle those the same way.
For program updates (dimensions, features), we can typically have revised samples within 3–5 business days. Since our CNC and engineering teams share the same floor and ERP system, a change request doesn't need to be re-quoted through a separate supplier — it's handled internally with the full original context.
The most common are stainless steels (303, 304, 316L), aluminum alloys (6061, 6063), and brass (C36000) — these cover the majority of sensor housings and structural parts. For liquid cooling applications, 6061-T6 aluminum is the standard. We also handle titanium, Kovar, and engineering plastics when the application calls for it.
We manage post-machining processes as part of the project — anodizing, passivation, plating, and cleaning are all coordinated from our end. For liquid cooling parts, helium leak testing is standard before shipment. You receive finished, tested parts with a single PO — no need to manage separate treatment vendors.
Absolutely. We have no minimum order quantity — a single test fixture or a set of 5 positioning jigs is a normal order for us. Many customers start with a few jigs during their development phase and later add production parts. The quoting process is the same regardless of quantity: send us a drawing or even a sketch, and we'll come back with a price and lead time.
